Fundraiser for Financial Assistance

Each spring Nueva raises funds for its financial assistance program through the sale of a wide array of "count-me-in" events for families, students, and parents. Offerings range from a Bollywood dance party for adults to a gingerbread-house decorating party for students, and everything in between. With wide participation across lower school, middle school and upper school, this truly demonstrates our community’s amazing commitment to philanthropy, opportunity and belonging!

Hear more about the transformational impact of financial assistance from alumna Michaela Shiloh '06.

Even a global pandemic couldn't keep the Nueva community from a great party! When COVID-19 forced us to cancel the April 4 benefit auction just a few weeks before it was scheduled to take place, our auction committee rallied and hosted Nueva’s first-ever virtual benefit auction, rechristened California Streamin’.

Auction Inspires Community-Building and Donations of All Shapes and Sizes

Perhaps when you hear the word “auction" you think of a hushed room full of serious people holding paddles, bidding on mysterious artifacts. What makes a community? How is our school made better by every student, parent, and staff member here? In this video, originally shared at our annual auction, we reflect on the fabric of our community and the ways we all make each other stronger!
