Athletics
Nueva’s athletics program has achieved great success in five short years as a PreK–12 school.
Our students pursue multiple passions, and, for many, representing Nueva as scholar-athletes is vital to their experience. Our participation is significant for such a young program: 64% of students in grades 4–8 and 50% of Upper School students participate in Nueva athletics.

Alternate Athletics Program
In order to fulfill their graduation requirement, students are required to participate in Physical Education two out of three seasons per year, for all four years of high school. Because we value interscholastic participation and recognize the commitment required, students can fulfill their yearly Physical Education requirement by participating in one season of an interscholastic Nueva sport.
Other options for fulfilling the requirement include after-school Nueva Physical Education classes or Outside Activity credit. Physical Education class options include yoga, sports conditioning, general conditioning, and weight training.
Additional offerings are based on student interest.
