Support
Nueva

Welcome to philanthropy at Nueva!

Nueva’s founding, growth, and culture of innovation and belonging have all been made possible by the generosity of our families and community (view Nueva’s Culture of Giving video, produced in 2021). As is the case at most independent schools, tuition at Nueva does not cover the full cost of educating each student. Through our community’s support of our annual, capital, and endowment giving efforts, we are able to provide financial assistance to students who require it, deliver a rich curriculum that enables discovery while building skills, continue to enhance our facilities, attract and develop talented faculty, and continuously innovate.

Each year, gifts to the Nueva Fund bridge the difference between tuition revenue, which covers between 80 and 85 percent of the cost of a Nueva education, and annual operating expenses. Parent volunteers educate the community about the Nueva Fund, solicit gifts, and have inspired more than 92 percent of families to support the fund each year. In the spring, Nueva hosts an online auction of count-me-in events to support financial assistance for students and build community for our families, students and parents.

Finally, through capital campaigns, Nueva periodically requests support for campus enhancement projects and endowment growth. In December 2022, the school successfully concluded the $125 million Realize the Potential (RTP) capital campaign. Surpassing its original $100 million goal by $25 million, the RTP campaign expanded our endowment to improve the school’s sustainability and will continue to fund campus improvement projects over the next several years.

Our community’s generosity, with gifts of any size to all fundraising efforts, demonstrates our collective support of the school’s extraordinary mission and vision. We are grateful for the support of all of our donors and volunteers!

With gratitude,
