Teachers Read #KindTweets Written by Students

Fans of Jimmy Kimmel Live will recognize his regular segment "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets." But why just snicker when you can laugh, cry, and awww your way through our new segment "Teachers Read #KindTweets."

Every year at the Upper School, students put out envelopes for every student, teacher, and school department. Over the course of the week, students fill those envelopes—every one of them—with notes of kindness and gratitude. In celebration of this Nueva tradition, we captured Upper School teachers reading some of their kindness notes for the first time. For the students and alumni who submitted these zingers of warmth and adoration, teachers will always be their favorite celebrities!

Quest Week Showcases Impressive Upper School Quest Projects

Quest, a signature Nueva program in the Upper School, is a journey of self-discovery, perseverance, and growth as students explore their own paths to purpose. This year, with all routines thoroughly disrupted, we had an opportunity to innovate how to celebrate Quest.

Reading Event Debuts Student Poems 

Twenty-one Upper School Students, faculty and staff members participated in the WRC’s Poetry Aloud on Wednesday afternoon, a virtual poetry reading bursting with creativity.
