CN USAthleticsThey ran, they swam, they swung, they scored. After a stellar year, upper school student athletes and their families came together last week to celebrate their accomplishments. Check out highlights from their 2016–2017 athletics slideshow.

CN AmericanStudiesInterdisciplinary learning took center stage as the eleventh grade hosted the second annual American Studies Conference in the Upper School’s Writing and Research Center.

CN BonfireOn May 12, the Nueva tenth graders headed over to Ocean Beach in San Francisco to celebrate the end of sophomore year with a bonfire. This tradition began with the first Nueva sophomore class in 2015, and has been kept alive by the Spirit and Social Clubs ever since.

CN Swimming10th grader Christopher R. took first place in the 100-yard backstroke at the WBAL swim finals on Saturday to earn Nueva its first ever individual swimming title. He also placed 3rd in the 200-yard IM. Christopher will join teammate Audrey C. at the CCS Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday at Santa Clara University.

Audrey C.CN DiverQualifies, member of the Nueva Swimming & Diving team, finished 5th and posted qualifying scores at the Brian Tanner Memorial Meet, held at Presentation HS on April 8.  She will represent Nueva at the CCS Championship on May 12 at Santa Clara.
