“Yokoso Japan!” means “Welcome Japan!” During the week of March 22-26, Nueva will welcome Japan into its community in two vital ways. As in years past, Nueva will open its doors to over 25 Japanese middle school students visiting from the Kyoto area (Doshisha schools). In addition to attending classes at Nueva and visiting Bay Area attractions, these students will participate in the very first Japanese Heritage Program at Nueva. As young ambassadors from Japan, they will join Nueva students in celebrating the final cultural program of the school year!
