Baseball Academy is a Home Run with Nueva Students

Baseball is a sport to unwind—to unwind your feelings and energy. So when Lower School teacher, Pete Moore hosts a baseball academy, how could anyone resist?

"Start out nice and easy, nice and easy," as Pete kept saying. The academy participants started out with a throwing and catching game, to warm up. Everybody was on fire, low catches, high catches, and every catch you could think of.

Then they started playing a baseball game. "I don't want to die!" Henry yelled as he was about to be tagged out. Amazing hit topped amazing hit, and incredible catches and throws were taking place in this amazing game. Cameron, the assistant from this academy was doing great throws for everyone.

"I chose this academy because I am athletic," Dominick said as I asked him a few questions. "I also chose this academy because I've played baseball before. Just before this, I scored a run for my team. And now I feel like I've accomplished something. Something big."
