The Book Fair!

Books, books, and more books! Everyone is excited near the Nueva Library. Bookworms come out with towers of books, others come out with just a few. Everywhere avid readers search for books that are just right for them. “I love watching how many people are looking, buying and interacting with books,” Librarian, Marilyn Kimura, says.
Everyone looks forward to this annual event that has been going on for about thirty years! Besides the book fair, there is also the book swap for people to swap old books for other people’s old books. This isn’t the only big thing! The World Series, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Chanukah make this a busy time of year!
The book fair also brings the Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Ugly Truth raffle. Out of the many people who entered, only thirteen won. “I feel like winning isn’t just about the prize, it was fun entering.” said Maddie who is in 4th grade. The book fair was a successful event—everybody is reading and getting inspired. Next year’s book fair is something you don’t want to miss.
