There are many wonderful events throughout the year at Nueva. Each one presents a unique opportunity for families in the community to get involved. The annual Benefit Auction -- coming up on March 31, 2012 -- is the largest fundraising and community-building event of the year! This Nueva tradition raises approximately $600,000 in proceeds to support Nueva's operating budget, specifically financial aid and professional development

In addition to the auction, the advancement office and parent community work together to organize the annual Nueva Cup Golf Tournament each fall (coming up on September 30, 2011!), donor recognition events including the annual Director's Circle party, and alumni events such as reunions and the alumni speaker series.

The Nueva Parents' Association kicks off the school year with Tea on the Plaza on the first day of school. The NPA also sponsors the annual Book Fair in the fall that benefits the library, as well as the Math/Science/Technology Fair in the spring. The NPA holds educational forums periodically on a variety of topics relating to parenting, education, child development, and much more.

The Music Department and Menuhin Scholars Program parents sponsor the annual Night at Nueva, a showcase of Nueva musical talent that is often graced by celebrity guest musicians. Proceeds benefit the general music program. Frequent recitals, semi-annual all-school concerts, special programs, and the annual Menuhin-Dowling competition round out a rich offering of music-related events.
