Nueva students, faculty, parents, and staff have prepared a dazzling variety of hands-on activities and fun, interactive exhibits, and they NEED your support! Please volunteer an hour or two or your time to make this cherished event a success. Lots of volunteer opportunities -- from exhibit helpers to food sales -- are still available. Click on the "Volunteer login" link on the left and sign up today!
We are short on volunteers!
We need your help! Can you give an hour or two of your time on Sunday? Exhibit helpers, greeters and volunteers to help with food sales, clean up, and set-up are desperately needed. To sign up, click HERE (login required). Thank you for your support!
Love playing Angry Birds?
Here’s your chance to play a real-life version and get those evil green pigs. Head to the Athletic Field to aim and shoot a giant slingshot or a 12-foot trebuchet!
This is just one of the more than thirty fantastic exhibits that are waiting for you this Sunday! Check out the complete listing and the Café menu HERE, and start planning what you want to explore, discover, create, and savor!
Speaker Info
This year’s special guest is Scott Kim, creator of hundreds of visually stimulating, thought-provoking, and highly original puzzles and games for the web, computer games, magazines, and toys. At Friday’s assembly to kick off the Fair, he shared how individual puzzles like Sudoku and Rush Hour are created, as well as how new games are invented. At the STEM Fair, you can check out his activity in the Math Pavilion.
Important Parking Info
The following parking lots will be available for public parking: The South Lot (the very first parking lot to your right when you arrive at Nueva), the Mansion Lot, and the Lower Lot. Exhibitors should park in the J Lot (the faculty parking lot behind the Hillside Learning Complex). Overflow parking will be on Skyline Boulevard.
Don’t forget to spring forward ... See you on Sunday!
