Hello! My name is Nishad, and I graduated from Nueva in 2009. I discovered my passion for long-distance running at Nueva. I loved running, but due to my asthma, I found it hard to run fast. Therefore, I pursued the Nueva approach to the problem and turned this obstacle into an opportunity, deciding to run long instead of fast. In fact, in a span of 3 years, I went from a half marathon distance to a recent 100 mile race.

Giving back is important to me, so I ran the 100 miler to raise funds for my current high school, Crystal Springs. I want to give back to Nueva, the school which gave me the inspiration to pursue my aspirations, and what better way than to share my passion with all of you?
