Enrichment Zubin 10.2017 Edited

Taught by a mix of Nueva faculty and Bay Area specialists, Nueva Enrichment offers students opportunities to take a deep dive into a specialized area of study or an activity they are passionate about outside of school hours. No previous experience is required to join any of Nueva's Enrichment classes; students with an established passion for a particular topic and curious beginners are equally welcome.

Questions? Please email with any questions.

Extended-Day:  Nueva students can attend After-Care or Homework Club before our 4:30 pm enrichment offerings with an Extended Day fee of $12.50/hour. If you have questions about the 5:30 pm late bus, please email

Registration/Cancellation Policy:  Please note that classes with low enrollment of four students or less may be cancelled. Students may drop an enrichment class for a full refund after attending the first session.

Zero-Hour PE: A Special Offering for Nueva K-8 students.

Morning exercise is one of the greatest cognitive amplifiers available to our students. Drop your student off at the GCC or join them for a game of badminton, soccer, or cargo-net climbing! Supervised by our PE teachers, Zero-Hour PE is available Monday through Friday from 7:30-8:20 am. Zero-Hour PE mirrors before-care in both scheduling and billing.

Think of it as aerobic before-care with brain benefits!

To learn more about the cognitive benefits of morning exercise for students, check out Dr. John Ratey's book, Spark! How Exercise Will Improve the Performance of Your Brain.
