Thank you for checking into Nueva's Financial Award program. For an initial overview, it may may be helpful to read Affording an Education at The Nueva School.

Starting on December 1, 2011, you may begin to apply for financial aid for the 2012-13 school year through the National Association of Independent Schools at www.sss.nais.org. Remember to keep a copy of all records before submitting them to Nueva and to SSS.

Admissions decisions are made independently of financial award considerations and awards are based solely on financial need. Awards are given for grades K-8, and amounts are determined using results from a financial analysis conducted by the School and Student Services, a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Twenty percent of Nueva students receive awards to cover tuition and trip costs.  We structure our awards by first serving those students who currently receive awards, then other enrolled students who have had a change in their financial status, followed by newly accepted students.

Although Nueva is not always able to meet the financial award requests of every family, we encourage families to apply if circumstances suggest that financial assistance might be needed to enroll. Information on the process is outlined below. If you have any questions or need guidance on unusual circumstances, please contact the Admissions Office at 650-350-4528, or by email This email address is being protected from spambots.
