Taking a Lower or Middle School tour is an important first step in understanding Nueva's innovative programs and diverse community. It also provides a forum for your first round of questions.

Lower School tours take place on Tuesdays, and Middle School tours on Wednesdays. The tours are geared towards parents only. In addition, there are two Middle School Open Houses, one in November and one in December which are geared toward the family as a whole. These events offer a wealth of information, and we recommend you call as early as you can in the fall to make your reservation. This gives the Admissions Office a better chance to accommodate your schedule. By late fall, many of the tours are booked into the spring and waiting lists become the only option.

Please note that if your child is too young to apply to Nueva for the fall of 2012, we encourage you to come on one of the April tours. This supports our effort to reserve fall spots for parents who are applying for enrollment in 2012. It’s also helpful if parents or guardians come to one tour only: there will be more opportunities to visit the school and ask in-depth questions as the year unfolds.

RSVP Required for all events! Please note that times given are the time the programs start. Plan to arrive at least ten to fifteen minutes beforehand to sign in, and make yourself comfortable!

Middle School Tours and Open Houses (Grades 5 – 7)

The Middle School Tours and Open Houses are a friendly and informal opportunity for parents to see Nueva's faculty in action and develop a strong sense of the community and curriculum. The MS Open Houses expand that to include students, giving the family a chance to sit in on sample Science, Math and Writing classes, as well as address questions to a student panel.
