peThe Middle School physical education program, which focuses on both physical fitness and sport activities, consists of individual and team-building activities that develop skills and confidence in a non-competitive and nurturing environment. Classes emphasize lifelong fitness, sportsmanship, and risk-taking through a wide range of organized activities. Facilities include a multiuse blacktop court, a sports field with a track and a baseball diamond, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, and a twenty-five-foot climbing wall.

The program's goal is to establish an atmosphere where students can experience success, acceptance, security, understanding, and self-respect through physical activities. Students become competent in many movement activities and understand how and why one moves in a variety of situations.

They use this information to enhance their skills, to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of fitness, to understand that physical activity provides opportunity for enjoyment, challenge, and self-expression, and to demonstrate responsible personal and social behavior.

Fitness activities focus on maintaining health and fitness skills. Components include endurance, flexibility, strength, speed, agility, quickness, balance, and coordination. Students must demonstrate understanding of concepts, principles, and strategies to improve and maintain fitness.

Students participate in a variety of activities, which include cooperative games, recreational sports, and traditional sports. They engage in sports such as flag football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, badminton, table tennis, street hockey, paddle tennis/pickle ball, softball, and climbing.
