A Letter from the Head of School

Last year was full of milestones as we graduated our first senior class, celebrated our 50th anniversary, and launched our new strategic plan. Our integrated preK–12 program is thriving. We are filled with optimism and excitement for the future. Since 1967, the Nueva School has taught gifted learners to learn by doing and learn by caring. To step into the Nueva experience is to witness a dynamic, vibrant environment where students explore and experiment. They learn to communicate and collaborate in large and small groups, and they demonstrate passion through individual, self-directed projects. Curiosity drives the curriculum. Nueva students observe closely, pose hypotheses, and gather data in pursuit of their questions, all the while developing real-world connections to their learning through authentic and meaningful investigation. They become flexible thinkers, adept at taking risks and monitoring their own learning.

Thank you for your interest in our school! We look forward to welcoming you, giving you the opportunity to learn all that Nueva has to offer — the chance to experience firsthand our motto of “Learn by Doing, Learn by Caring.”

Warm Regards,

Diane Rosenberg
Head of School
